Founded in 2007 by Nicola Oberto, Stefania Oberto and their friend Vladimiro Rambaldi, Trediberri ("three from Berri") has quickly become one of Piedmont's most exciting young estates. Based in La Morra, the winery combines traditional methods with a fresh, transparent approach to winemaking, producing wines that emphasise purity, drinkability and a strong sense of place. Their Dolcetto is a perfect example of this philosophy—vibrant, honest and unmistakably Piedmontese.

Dolcetto

Dolcetto is one of Piedmont's classic indigenous red grape varieties, prized for its juicy fruit, soft tannins and everyday drinkability. Despite its name ("little sweet one"), the wines are almost always dry, offering flavours of black cherry, blackberry, plum and almonds with a gentle herbal edge. Typically medium bodied and low in tannin, Dolcetto is made to be enjoyed young, although the finest examples from Dogliani gain extra depth and complexity.
