It is widely considered that the best examples of Nemea wine are made from vineyards at the highest altitudes, where gravelly soils, lower temperatures and great diurnal changes in temperature produce lower yields resulting in high-quality grapes of the variety Agiorgitiko with delicate floral characteristics and high acidity. Grapes for this wine are harvested from a mountainous area, toward the peak of Mount Kyllini at 2360ft (720m). Minimum intervention in the wine-making ensures the protection of this special terroir.
Vibrant red–purple colour with fragrances of cherries and pomegranate. The aromatic bouquet is carried by a beautiful complexity. Complementary aromas of vanilla, black pepper and violet form a perfect symbiosis. Vibrant on the palate with velvety tannins and a long, fruity finish.
